Limited Warranty Coverage

Evergreen Trading Group LLC, DBA YouLoveSolar warrants its qualified YouLoveSolar products (“Products”) to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under the terms below.

Warranty Period (No-Cost Limited Warranty)

The no-cost limited warranty lasts 90 days beginning on the date of purchase shown on the YouLoveSolar online store order confirmation (the date the order was placed). This warranty applies only to the original purchaser who bought the Product directly from YouLoveSolar.

Proof of Purchase: The purchaser is responsible for retaining the YouLoveSolar order receipt/confirmation as proof of the purchase date.

Optional Extended Warranties

Optional two-year and five-year extended warranties may be available for purchase. Pricing and availability are subject to change without notice.

2) Exclusive Remedy (Repair / Replacement / Refund)

If a Product is determined by YouLoveSolar to be defective during the applicable warranty period, YouLoveSolar will, at its sole option:

  • Exchange the defective Product with a new, like-new, or refurbished Product that is functionally equivalent; or

  • Repair the defective Product at a YouLoveSolar depot facility; or

  • Provide a refund as described below.

In the case of an exchange, the remainder of the eligible warranty transfers to the replacement Product, or 90 days, whichever is longer.

Refund Option (If Offered)

If YouLoveSolar elects to issue a refund in lieu of repair or replacement, the refund amount will be the then-current wholesale value of the Product, as determined solely by YouLoveSolar, less any non-refundable charges.

Refunds do not include shipping, freight, taxes, installation/removal costs, diagnostic fees, permits, or any other third-party charges.

3) RMA (Return Material Authorization) Requirements

All warranty returns require a pre-approved Return Material Authorization (RMA).

  • How RMAs are issued: Typically, YouLoveSolar issues an RMA by email and provides return-shipping instructions.

  • Internal tracking: Each RMA is logged and tracked internally (including customer details, Product model/serial number, and status) until the warranty claim is resolved.

  • RMA expiration: The RMA expires 20 days after issuance.

  • No RMA = no processing: Products received without a valid RMA will not be processed.

  • Unclaimed/unlabeled items: Unclaimed or unlabeled items received without an RMA (or without identifying information sufficient to match the item to an RMA/serial number) may be disposed of after 30 days, and the warranty claim may be cancelled.

  • Packaging and shipping damage: The customer (or installer) is responsible for proper packaging. If the returned Product arrives damaged due to poor packing or carrier damage, YouLoveSolar may refuse the shipment and the warranty will not cover shipping-related damage.

  • Abandoned items: Items abandoned after 30 days may be disposed of at the customer’s expense.

4) Eligibility and Installation Requirements

This warranty is valid only when all installation and service work is performed by a qualified authorized installer.

5) What This Warranty Does Not Cover (Exclusions)

This limited warranty does not cover failures, defects, or damage caused by, related to, and is not limited to, or resulting from:

  • Transport or shipping damage

  • Incorrect installation, commissioning, or configuration

  • Failure to follow user manuals, maintenance requirements, or required service intervals

  • Modifications, changes, attempted repairs, or alterations outside the YouLoveSolar factory

  • Units returned in an unassembled condition

  • Incorrect use, misuse, or inappropriate operation

  • Insufficient ventilation

  • Failure to observe applicable safety regulations

  • Force majeure or external events (including lightning, overvoltage, storm, fire)

  • Abnormal wear

  • Dirt, water intrusion, corrosion, or salt-air exposure

  • Pests or rodent damage

  • Improper grounding

  • Mis-sizing or system design errors

  • Grid issues or utility-related conditions

  • Generator damage

  • Battery misconfiguration

  • Surge/overvoltage events

  • Firmware, communications, or software issues, including software updates

  • Cosmetic defects that do not directly influence energy production or degrade form, fit, or function

If a returned Product is found not to be defective under the terms of this warranty, YouLoveSolar may charge for inspection, repair, replacement, and/or return shipping.

6) Costs Not Covered (Labor / Onsite Service / Third-Party Charges)

This warranty covers only the warranted physical Product. It does not cover:

  • Labor or onsite service calls (including truck rolls)

  • Diagnostic work performed by the customer’s technician

  • Removal and reinstallation

  • Permitting or inspection fees

  • Electrician fees

  • Any other third-party costs

7) Shipping and Replacement Procedure

  • The customer is responsible for transportation to and from YouLoveSolar repair facilities, regardless of warranty coverage.

  • YouLoveSolar is not responsible for transportation costs under this warranty.

  • The customer or installer must pack the Product in a suitable shipping box and apply any YouLoveSolar-provided shipping label(s) as instructed.

  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing, shipping to and from YouLoveSolar will be billed to and paid for in advance by the customer.

  • YouLoveSolar does not provide replacement equipment to distributors or installers who choose to exchange equipment from their own stock in the field.

8) Documentation Required

To fulfill warranty obligations, YouLoveSolar may require a copy of the purchase receipt, warranty certificate, installation document, and/or evidence of any warranty extension. Documentation must include the Product model and serial number to determine warranty entitlement.

9) Warranty Transferability

This warranty is not assignable or transferable.

10) Geography / Eligibility Limits

This warranty applies to Products purchased and used in the continental United States only. This warranty is void for export shipments and for orders shipped to freight forwarders.

11) No Life-Safety / Critical Use

Products are not designed or warranted for use in life-safety, medical, emergency response, or other critical applications where failure could lead to injury, death, or property damage.

12) Limitation of Liability / Liability Cap (Exclusive Remedy)

REPAIR, REPLACEMENT, OR REFUND (AT YOULOVESOLAR’S SOLE OPTION) IS THE CUSTOMER’S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY UNDER THIS WARRANTY. IN NO EVENT SHALL YOULOVESOLAR’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PRODUCT, ITS SALE OR USE, OR THIS WARRANTY (WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE) EXCEED THE THEN-CURRENT WHOLESALE VALUE OF THE PRODUCT, AS DETERMINED SOLELY BY YOULOVESOLAR.

IN NO EVENT SHALL YOULOVESOLAR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF USE, OR DOWNTIME), EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

13) Disclaimer / Limitation of Implied Warranties

EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, YOULOVESOLAR DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

TO THE EXTENT ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES CANNOT BE DISCLAIMED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, SUCH IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE APPLICABLE WARRANTY PERIOD.

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.

14) Governing Law; Venue

This Limited Warranty and any dispute arising out of or relating to the Product, the sale of the Product, or this warranty will be governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and applicable United States federal law.

Any legal action must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Douglas County, Nevada, and the parties consent to legal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

Optional Pre-Suit Resolution: Before filing a claim, the customer agrees to provide written notice to YouLoveSolar and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally.

15) How to Get Warranty Support

In the unlikely event of a failure, contact the YouLoveSolar Technical Service Line at 1-775-781-2707.

Proper fault diagnosis may require a qualified Solar PV service technician at the Product location equipped with a quality digital AC/DC voltmeter. The onsite technician may be asked to take voltage and current measurements and provide error codes.

Additional information may be required, including:

  • Model number

  • Serial number

  • Job site name

  • Original date of purchase on receipt from YouLoveSolar

  • PV array configuration (brand/model number and quantity)

  • Description of system layout and application

If the onsite technician is unwilling or unable to assist with fault diagnosis, the customer may be charged an inspection fee plus shipping costs if no trouble is found when the Product is tested by the YouLoveSolar Service Repair Department.

16) One Warranty Per Product

If you purchase additional Products at the same time as a warranty, each Product must have its own separate warranty to be covered.

17) Extended Warranty Timing

Any extended warranty must be purchased within the first 30 days of purchase of a YouLoveSolar refurbished or new inverter purchased from YouLoveSolar.
